This is Yokomo 1/10 YD-2ZS RWD Competition Drift Car Chassis Kit EP w/ YG-302 Gyro. A new machine with a gearbox for the S series of 4-gear transmissions that may utilise the rotation of the engine in the opposite torque direction will be released, and it will be based on the YD-2Z chassis.
Up until this point, the 3-gear transmission offered a number of significant advantages, including the sensation of ground contact at the front and the acceleration response, but the 4-gear transmission, which had been well accepted for some time, was in high demand. Drivers who are used to using four gears will greatly benefit from the "motor anti-torque" that pushes down the rear when accelerating, especially in conditions where the grip is minimal.
The upper deck adapter for the YD-2ZS was specifically designed to accommodate a gear case. The YD-2Z base chassis makes it a good location to attach a straight pack or other standard size battery. Details like the 4.8mm cushion ball and drift spring have naturally been updated to the most recent specifications.
When the throttle is turned on, the force is applied in the direction of pushing down the rear, making it easier to obtain traction during acceleration. Of course, there is a trade-off with the setting, but it will be a great weapon on low grip road surfaces.
The front area is the same as the previous Z series. Highly reliable steering configuration. We are upgrading to the latest specifications with Φ4.8mm pillow balls and drift springs.
Previously, the S series was exclusively for short Li-po batteries, but the ZS can now be equipped with standard size straight pack batteries. With more battery options, it is easy to recommend to beginners and intermediate users.
