Introducing Tetsuya Hibino's SunRISE / Mercury AE86 LEVIN, modeled after the 2006 version driven during the D1 Professional Drift Series that year. Hibino is the head of automotive retailer SunRISE, and in addition to sponsorship from Mercury, receives support from Yamaoka AION for tuning and machine work, SOUL BODY SERVICE for body work, and MK Planning for body design, for his campaign in the D1 championship.
This 1/10th scale electric radio controlled car assembly kit is designed to allow the excitement of drifting to be easily enjoyed by anyone. Featuring a 4-wheel double-wishbone suspension and a high-efficiency shaft-drive full-time 4WD system, a competition-ready Yokomo MR-4TC SD CM chassis is fitted with newly developed Zero-1R(PAT.P) super drift tires, and solid axles in both the front and rear for optimal drift are now possible. Fout wheel drifting at angles and distances that would wow any D1 driver are now possible. And similar to the full-size counterparts, settings can be adjusted, and optional parts can be added to modify performance and enhance looks. You can also enjoy twin drifts or group drifting with your friends. Fine details of the full-size original are reproduced in painstaking detail, especially pieces like the aero body kit, mirrors, and painting scheme of the original factory works vehicle. So in addition to being fully capable of realistic drifting, the Yokomo Drift Package can also be proudly displayed. No other radio controlled car comes close to having this much drifting appeal in a 1/10th scale size.
