A must have for all lipo user is a lipo battery monitor and maybe alarm...... when the voltage drops below 6v your lipo battery will be destroyed and this lipo battery monitor must alarm you when you voltage of your battery drops... it can be used for 2s only lipo and at this price i would buy this because at the half of this price my local store has lipo monitors for all lipo batteries 2s-6s for 5 bucks... Good product from yeah racing but the price is too high...

This is a great voltage regulator! This is so you can use LiPo batteries instead of NiMh in your gaspowered vehicle. Most regulators give 6V output which is what is considered "safe", and is the same as the nominal voltage of a five cell NiMh battery. But a fully charged NiMh can have as high voltage as 7V, so with this regulator it is as if you always were driving with a fresh battery! And I can tell, there IS a BIG difference. Highly recommended!

Now this is one great item, its uses the latest smd surface mount products which is why its soo small. Its for those who have a vehicle the uses a 6v battery to power their Reciever for thier cars. What it does is it allows you to use the latest battery technology 'LIPO' that is 7.4v which if you plug it directly would burn up your reciever because its too powerful! This Regulator takes the 7.4v and converts it to 6v which is what your reciever would require from those 6v NiMh battery that only last about 30mins constant driving. Using a 7.4v LiPo battery and converting the power down will enable you to run your car much longer. As its soo small you can tuck it under anywhere, it connect between your reciever and your battery. I guess it doesnt only work for reciever but for any product using a 6-6.5v NiMh battery and want to upgrade to The 7.4v LiPo for longer operating time. Also the price is well reasonable for this item as other same regulator which all does the same thing but a larger cost over $20 not incl shipping. Grab it now if you want to use a LiPo battery, but remember that you will need a LiPo balancer charger and you cant use any normal battery chargers to charger a LiPo battery!!

I bought this regulator to keep safe the reciever and other electric systems (led light kit) from high voltage. You can see the actually size on the pictures above. So it can fit on any reciever or servo. I've used my light system from an additional battery which made my car much more heavier and the handling became a nightmare. The 7cell ni-mh.s or the 3cell Li-po.s can cause extremely high voltage what this little thing can regulate to 6.5v. Instrction manual is included in the box as well. Thank you Rc-mart!
