This is an excellent combo at a really great price. The speed controller is perfect replacement for the Tamiya included ones. This ESC is completely waterproof I have submerged mine water and it still works flawlessly, and it has the bonus of lipo cutoff. The motor is very powerful and has a huge amount of torque. It is a good replacement motor for the HPI 15T fire-bolt or even the Traxxas Titan 12T 550. I am using this motor and ESC in my rally TA01 and I have no complaints about it. Great quality product for a fair price.
