The Traxxas rally is built off of the same chassis as the Traxxas Slash. It has the LCG chassis which adds improved steering and handling feel. If you are debating between purchasing the rally or the slash, go for the rally. I did this because i wanted the low centre of gravity for when I wished to convert the chassis to a slash. The parts required to change the rally to a slash are very few. Requires Proline extended bosy mounts (or Traxxas equivalent), and Traxxas slash front and rear bumpers. You do not need these if you prefer the foam bumper and rear cage bumper. The tires of the Traxxas rally are fairly grippy but not too much. Good balance for long wear and top speed control.
