This cc-01 Landfreeder is a very nice kit. As with all Tamiya kits it is easy to build and read the instructions. I built mine completely stock and it is a very scale looking truck even though the body isn't based on a 'real' truck body. The truck handles obstacles ok and the motor is probably a little too fast for proper scale speeds but it does pretty good. The truck is fairly capable offroad but the suspension travel and tires limit it a bit, but hey what can you expect from a very scale, performing chassis. For the price it is it is a very good kit and I have still yet to break anything. The only thing I would recommend getting for this truck is ball bearings and if you want to make the truck a very capable offroader then get the stroke extension link and the rock block wheels/tires. Also make sure you use locktight on the metal driveshaft otherwise it will probably fall out. Other than that enjoy the kit as it is fun to build and even better to drive.
