Tamiya dominates this class with various models to choose from but recently 3Racing has started to make in-roads with the FGX kit.

Unlike touring cars or Minis, most F1¡¦s do not have an independent rear suspension (although the 3Racing FGX is an exception). This actually simplifies car setup as there are fewer adjustments to get to grips with.

When buying any new F1 chassis a key consideration is who the availability of parts. If there are abundant aftermarket parts for the chassis, then that's a big advantage when you break something.

Believe it or not, RC companies do put R&D into this and provide the most beneficial all-around setup for kits.
