The DX3 offers many of the standard features most of us look for, but the biggest advantages are claimed to be in what hasn't been offered up until recently. That's the ability to completely eliminate glitching and channel conflicts altogether. That's a tall order, but one that Spektrum feels they have satisfied.

I have a Spektrum DX3 for three years now and I can just say it's awesome! The first one was defect but I got a new one in just one week! I use this transmitter for my Serpent 710 and a boat and in both models the reciver works great without any servo glitching and that's an improvement for me. I would recommend the DX3 to anyone!

i got this transmitter for some time now, an it realy works great for me! it is quite cheap, but it realy works good! before, when i used chrystals, my car went in the water once, and did wierd things, but those day's are over.

Great beginners system. However, if you are looking for more programability, I suggest you stick to a higher end radio like a helios or 3pk. Does not have servo speed adjustment.

I have had one of these for ages and its awesome! Have had no dramas at all. In response to the other reviews, I run ACE DS1015 servos and dont have any trouble at all, I would suggest a slower servo if control is an issue. Or something programmable like Hyperion FMD's As for the system not having Futaba or Sanwa type plugs, I wouldnt think JR would use Futaba plugs and being that Spektrum is owned/made by JR theres a fair chance they will be JR Connections. I will agree there is some range issues, I have encountered a few people who have range issues and there seems to be no solution. All in all though I think this is good value for money.
