This budget 2.4 GHz radio set is comes with TWO receivers!, which many branded radio set only have one receiver. The size of the receiver KR-407S is as big as my THUMB! Wow, it is the tiniest receiver in the world. The radio is light weight even I have put in eight rechargeable AA batteries. The handle is comfortable and the wheel steering is rubber grip. The radio is compact and futuristic design. The button controls for the functions and the LCD screen is very-very easy to use (User/beginner friendly). I can understand the function very fast. It has 3rd channel function which is best use for gear shifting like the TAMIYA TUNDRA. Finally, this radio set is MADE IN JAPAN!, with serial number at the back. My serial number is 0718034. I have tested it on my TAMIYA TT-01D with KO Propo PDS-2502 servo, the results the servo and the radio set is very responsive; no delays. Another receiver I installed to my TAMIYA DT-02 buggy for bashing at my home backyard. I am very happy with this product and I would like to thank RCMART so much for the great price and fast delivery. I recommend this Radio set to RC hobbyist who wants to upgrade radio on a budget, yet lots of function, Japanese made and who have multiple RC car kits.

My friend recommended me to get this controller even though I was happy with my Futaba 2PL. Nonetheless, the good deals on RC Mart made it a simple decision for me. ;-) Out of the box, the overall finishing and quality is really fantastic. Load it up with 8 AA batteries and was surprised that it wasn't as heavy as I expected. Ran throught all the settings and it blew my mind! The user interface on this is probably the next best thing compared to a full screen dot matrix display. The top and bottom "icons" lets you know the setting that you are in and it's relatively intuitive. You'd still want to read the manual though as it gives a lot of explanations, common settings and their effects. The number of settings available is also more than my basic 2PL. Granted some are not needed for drifting for example but who knows I might go into touring. :D Time to put the controller to the test, using a TT01 and comparing stock to this controller. The throttle control is much much better and then there's also the faster steering respond I get just even though still using stock servo. The grip is comfortable, trigger and wheel tension is quite nice for me. All buttons are clearly defined and within easy access. There's 2 things I don't like about this controller and it's the darn antenna that can't be folded and the wheel with hard rubber "inserts" instead of foam. These are subjective but it's also something that my old 2PL is better in this sense.

Fantastic radio ! Good quality and light. Fast response, good range, and free interference. It's really the best choice for this price and ship wth 2 micro receivers !

I have received this radio today and and istalled the receiver in my 1/16 e-revo. I'm pretty impressed, that is the best radio you can get for the money! I own a spektrum dx3.0 which is also a good radio but this EX-5UR is far better! If someone going to plan to upgrade to 2.4GHz i would recommand this before getting a dx3.0!
