Used it 3 times very jerky. Cuts out and then esc died. No beeps no nothing. Asked for money back the have me a store credit for half. Might try again as it's most likely just poor quality control typical for low end stuff.
Use it for RWD drifting. So far so good. The connectors between motor and esc have bad contacts. The motor jerking when throttle and some times not moving. Solve the problem by soldering motor and esc wires directly without connector.
Great set if looking to upgrade from stock motor/ esc.. Had trouble initially calibrating it but when I did, it did not disappoint. Massive power difference compared to stock. Although the ESC died on me but I hadn't used it in months which might be the reason why. All up I loved it.
My first time going brushless and wanted to try a non-sensored motor. Turn out to be great value for money, entire combo provided me everything for an upgrade from stock kit. The motor packed a lot of punch which can be programmed from the card to reduce various setting for novice to easily control their cars. The factory wires needed to be swapped with any two for the motor to turn in the correction direction (Swap Orange with Yellow). It does give a high pitch sound on initial throttle but guess that must be from the switching frequency. Another 5 stars for first time upgrades, go for it.
i had a problem with calibration to the flysky gt3c.
the solution was to calibrate with the second channel on reverse .
but then the motor turned the wrong way around.
then i swapped the orange and yellow leads and it woks fine now.
with the program card you can not program the reverse speed but that can be done manually.
