Another great product from rcmart and hobbywing. All up very good, have not found the " waterproof" Problem the last reviewer has. But I do look after my products and it does say to remove the fan if driving in wet conditions, that could possibly be his specific problem. I also have 2 of the WP-60 esc'as and have had no problems with any of them and they are both a year old. Excellent and a good esc to combine with a hobbywing motor. It is big so make sure your car has the space for it.

I purchased this ESC to be used with my Tamiya TT02 Lancia Delta Integrale rally kit. I do like this ESC but I have two complaints about it which prevent me from giving it a perfect 5/5 score. First of all, the fan which is included cannot handle 3s lipo batteries. The ESC itself is capable of handling 3s lipos so it does not make sense that the fan is not able to do so as well. However my biggest complaint about this ESC is that it even though it says it is waterproof, it is in fact NOT waterproof. I've come to this conclusion because after EVERY time that I play with my rc car in wet conditions, my ESC shuts down. It is only after I blow dry the ESC for 5-10 minutes on low heat that it begins to function again. I have waterproof ESCs in my other rc cars such as the Castle Creations SV3, Traxxas XL-5, and HPI Flux Reload that I have gotten just as wet, yet these ESCs still keep working. Now, the non-waterproof issue aside, I will say that the ESC is quite good and has a lot of programming features. Also, the included fan, despite not being 3s capable, is also quite good and keeps the ESC cool. If this ESC was water proof and the fan could handle 3s then I would score this ESC better than a 5/5 score because the price is excellent and the programming features are great. But unfortunately, due to the two issues I mentioned, I must give it a 3/5. If the ESC is going to be run in an area where water is not an issue and 2s lipo is the maximum battery that will be used, then it gets a 5/5 and I would recommend buying it.
