Nice kit, makes conversion to electric easy for anyone to do. You just need to cut the servo plate to accomodate just the steering servo, install your preferred motor/esc combo and go to the track. Battery straps could be a little longer to fit 2 x 2S Lipos but it is easy to solve, perfect for 1 x 2S Lipos. I installed it in my Inferno RTR in minutes and it looks very clean like the buggy has born electric from the factory. Recomended for Inferno MP77 and ST-RR too.
This kit was purchased with the intention/risk of putting it into a Kyosho Landmax 1. Nitro to electric conversion. With slight dremeling, some space washers, it fits peeeerfectly. I am using the Neu 1415-1Y motor which has 25mm spacing, 5mm shaft, 36mm can. I can use up to an 18 turn pinion. Pumping over 1500 watts into this setup, and the mount is holding strong. Very sturdy bit of gear, about a cm thick. The 12 turn pinion that came with it is ok, but is small compared to say, a Novak Mod1 pinion, which has a longer neck. If you have a short shaft like on my 1415, the stock pinion will be right at its limit connecting to the spur gear. You will have to space it or use other pinions. I did not use the heavy steel tray that came with it either. I cut my servo tray down as it is lighter, made of aluminum.
Overall though, very happy, impresssed. Cheaper than other conversion kits for Kyosho by a MILE, good quality. I'd like to buy another if they are ever in stock again.
