- Y Harness --
A servo lead extension that splits control from one servo port into two separate servos. Both servos act identical to each other, and can not be programmed for different operating parameters. A Y harness is commonly used on large scale models that require 2 steering servos, or with 4 wheel steering applications. Y harnesses are also available to connect 2 battery packs into a single connector.
- Yoke --
The part that attaches the diff or tranny outdrive to the axle or driveshaft. The yoke is usually held to the outdrive with a setscrew and attached to the axle or driveshaft with a universal or CV joint. The yoke and axle or driveshaft usually come assembled as a single unit. A yoke is different than a drive cup, which is only used with dogbone style axles.
