• KV - kV --
A brushless motor's kV rating =?1000 RPM per volt without load. Thus, a 4.8 (4,800) kV motor will spin at 4,800 RPM per volt. With a 7.2V battery pack, that motor would max out at 34,560 RPM (4,800 X 7.2 = 34,560). The final RPM rating varies according to the model's weight, drivetrain efficiency, drag, ect.
