So I finally got this in the mail. rcMart sent it to the wrong address due to a PayPal issue. Luckily I was able to track it down at my local post office and they let me pick it up. rcMart support was a little difficult to deal with in regards to this issue but all was resolved. On first try I was running this on a 7.2V NiMH battery and it didnt seem to output anything. After further tests a friend and I found out that the battery was the issue. We changed up the battery for a 2200mAh / 3c / 35c /45c burst and tested this out. IT FLIES!!! This thing is amazing and fantastic bang for the buck. I am running it it a stock Tamiya TT-01 19t/61t pinion/spur setup and I need to change the setup because on full it grinds the gears. on quarter throttle it still goes a good 30 Km/h. This esc/motor combo will easily hit 100+ Km/h with a full alloy/aluminum setup (not tested fully yet) We got a good 1/2 hour play time (no body/15 degree celcius outside - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_yKzqdFcZk&feature=plcp) on the 2200 mAh battery (check every 5 minutes or so - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u0tj7VRyegA&feature=plcp)- -
Did not even get hot to the touch. Great bang for the buck. Spend the money as its worth it! Great impulse buy as that is what I did.
