3.5mm Rod End and Front bumper & Skid Plate for the HPI Baja 5B Launched by RPM

RC Parts’ durabilities are always big concerns for the motorists; therefore, we are please to announce the stocking of the new 3.5mm Rod End manufactured by RPM. The product allows the use of larger than stock 3.5mm turnbuckles while still using a standard 4.3mm (.170”) diameter ball stud, common to most 1/10^th scale Losi, Associated and some HPI vehicles. Now anyone can run a stronger 3.5mm turnbuckle size without having to sacrifice strength or durability with an inferior rod end.

In addition, new front bumper & Skid Plate for the HPI Baja 5B have also been launched by RPM, which are capable of reducing impact energy in half.

We even retained the stock exhaust pipe support wire mounting hole and shelf for those running the HPI aluminum tuned exhaust pipe (HPI #86690).

Just a short time ago, RPM engineers designed new rear bearing carriers for the HPI Blitz and Firestorm lines of vehicles that incorporated 5x11mm bearings, improving durability and performance significantly. That same bearing size is now available for the front end of those same vehicles! RPM In-Line Steering Blocks incorporate a 5x11mm bearing, which has nearly twice the dynamic load rating as the stock 5x10mm bearing. RPM Products have release rear bearing carriers for the HPI Blitz & Blitz ESE. To improve the overall stength of this area, they gave the part a bearing overhaul. The stock bearings are a 5×10mm design, which they claim is not strong enough for racer’s demands, so these new RPM carriers use a 5×11mm bearing, doubling the dynamic load rating from 44kgf to 73kgf. Made from RPM’s bulletproof blend of super strong nylons, they are factory backed with the company’s industry renowned breakage warranty.
