RPM Rear Bumper Mounts for the Losi Ten-SCTE

RPM has just released a Rear Bumper Mounts (RPM #73112) for the Losi Ten-SCTE.

The Losi Ten-SCTE is a wickedly fast short course truck. That type of performance places extra stress on the protective areas of the truck, specifically the front and rear bumpers. RPM #73042 does a great job protecting the front end and RPM #73112 helps protect the rear but the stock mounting system holding the rear bumper in place needs some much needed RPM help. That’s where our rear bumper mount solves this final durability issue.

The RPM Rear Bumper Mount for the Losi Ten-SCTE is designed to absorb critical rear impacts, reducing transferred impact energy that could potentially damage other more fragile internal components. Our four piece design uses multiple curves and spring shapes to absorb those impact energies by distorting upon initial impact, then, unique to RPM engineering grade materials, will return back to its original shape.

These motors and manufactured with highest quality components, for example, the vented end bells allow you to push the motors harder while not overheating. Ceramic bearings add efficiency to your motor’s basic operation and are designed as long lasting durable bearings. What would a top-of-the-line motor be without red wire? The red wire stators are one of Novak’s most coveted items, and are used in the Premium Ballistic Spec brushless motor.

Are you Keeping Your Speed Under Controlled?

The driving performance are not only influenced solely by the motors, but also affected by the efficiency of the ESC. Good ESC should have great torque and low speed drivability, the power that delivered from the ESC to the motor should be very smooth and should have multi settings options to adopt different road conditions.

Novak has recently launched new GTB 2 w/X-Drive Racing Brushless ESC (#1749), which has nine adjustable parameters to maximum performance on the track: Minimum Brake (10 settings), Drag Brake (10 settings), Minimum Drive (10 settings), Dead Band (5 settings), Throttle Curve (Linear/Expo), Brake Curve (Linear/Expo), Brake Frequency (10 settings), Brake End-Point (10 settings), and Drive Frequency (10 settings). The RPM new Front Shock Tower for the SC10, T4 & GT2 Improved the strength and durability, improve crash survivability and help reduce damage to other vital components. The T-shaped structure of The front shock tower provides some serious strength and rigidity while the top-secret blend of materials we use provides unmatched durability.

Although the SC10, T4 & GT2 each have different requirements of the front shock tower; the RPM version integrates all those needs for unmatched support of the shocks on all three trucks while the redesigned front bumper mount base for the SC10 has been strengthened to sustain repeated impacts from the stock front bumper. All this performance and durability is wrapped up in a part that weighs in slightly less than the stock piece it replaces!

The RPM Shock Towers are designed to improve the structure and durability of these awesome racing trucks. The I-beam shape found along the tops and sides of our shock tower provide some serious strength and rigidity while the chemical make up of our proprietary blend of nylons provides unmatched durability. The end result – a new shock tower design that will rigidly support the rear shocks while allowing the part to survive under extreme crash situations.
Additionally, the unique nature of our materials will also help reduce transferred impact energy into the fragile chassis and chassis components. By absorbing that impact energy instead of transferring it on, our shock tower will improve overall crash survivability of the truck!
