This is the Protoform SoCal Panel Wagon Body, and is intended for use with the Tamiya Mini chassis in the 225mm configuration. For many years the Tamiya Mini chassis has been a mainstay in the world of RC car enthusiasts. Tamiya has continued to evolve and improve the chassis that are now into its 6th iteration, the M-06. The Mini class is popular around the globe and offers a tremendous amount of diversity. These fun little cars are raced at club events and displayed in Concourse competitions on most weekends. There's a vast array of bodies available, and this has kept the Mini's immensely popular.

The rear of the roof has been lowered and fins have been added to achieve stable air flow over the body. The fins also add rigidity to the body to increase aerodynamic efficiency.

The "Gen 2" TCC (Todays Cup Car) is the second iteration of the ever-changing look of the modern NASCAR series Sprint Cup racer. It now features an add-on blade spoiler and a double step splitter/spoiler on the front valance. The left side now features a bumped out area for added battery clearance and left side weight bias. The body has additional built-in rake for great stability and handling. The rear window/truck rail has been enlarged just like the 1:1 racer.

With the recent release of the Team Associated’s 12mm hex conversion, converting to a more durable interchangeable wheel setup is easier than ever. JConcepts replacement Mono wheels are designed in the popular dish style and available in bright white and fluorescent yellow. The B44.1 has not been left out of the Mono wheel development and while the rear easily utilizes the same configuration as the B4.1 with 12mm hex conversion, the front wheel, part #3349, is a matching stylized wheel that is a direct bolt-on for the kit standard front B44.1 wheel hex.
The new B44.1 front Mono wheels are the maximum size allowed under ROAR rules and make a statement with their large appearance, slight convex dish shaped design and superior inner rib design. The wheels incorporate an outer glue catch that resists excess glue from running down the wheel face during the gluing process. JConcepts wheels are manufactured using advanced techniques to ensure trueness and durability and are branded with the small JC logo for brand identification and authenticity.
