Follow the big success of the first Novak NovaGear application for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad, Novak has introduced the Andriod version which include all of the features of the NovaGear 1.1.  This new application for Andriod devices puts handheld R/C technology in the hands of even more racers.

NovaLink Software compatible with the M2 Dig is now available for download!!!

Team Novak releases all new software for use with the NovaLink Programming Interface (#5440) and  M2 Dig 3S Dual Brush ESC (#1846). Drivers can now fine tune the M2’s multiple parameters by inputting the desired values or using the user-friendly graphic controls. The ESC’s firmware can also be updated via the NovaLink.

Novak announces the Havoc 3S Brushless/Brush ESC (#1734) with Traxxas® plugs! The Havoc 3S/Ballistic 8.5T Brushless System (#3083) is also being introduced, making it the fourth Havoc 3S/Ballistic system available. These products are equipped with a Traxxas®-compatible battery connector, able to handle a high-current, and ready for an easy installation. In other words, no soldering! To further simplify installation, the Havoc 3S and the Havoc 3S/Ballistic 8.5 System include gold-plated bullet motor plugs, which eliminate tricky wiring and allow the system to remove easily from the vehicle without soldering. Their responsibilities include producing and maintaining rules for ensuring fair competition participated by members and manufacturers. Novak Kinetic/Ballistic Brushless System has just arrvied @ rcMart!

After years of designing, testing and perfecting, Novak – the forerunner of speed control technology – has completed its greatest engineering accomplishment. Novak’s flagship Kinetic Racing Brushless ESC (#1740), which is available in 8 Kinetic/Ballistic Brushless Systems – 5.5T-21.5T (#3142-#3149), includes all of the most sought after speed control features in R/C racing, such as Novak’s Dynamic Timing Advance™, which features a cutting-edge timing system that is exceptionally smooth throughout all of the timing levels; the advanced NovaBrakes™ system, which provides instantaneous braking under any timing condition; and the highly developed Thermal Overload Protection feature, which prevents thermal overload without taking drivers out of the race. Novak isn’t a stranger to innovation. It has repeatedly brought original products and technological advancements to the R/C industry, and, to no one’s surprise, Novak is doing it again! The Ballistic 550 Brushless Motors (#3504-#3506) are the first 550-sized motors to break into short course competition and easily outperform traditional 540-sized motors. The Ballistic 550s are so powerful because of their extra long stator and rotor magnet. In fact, the stator and rotor magnet are twice the length of 540-sized motors, giving them twice the torque of an equivalent 540 motor. The more torque, the more speed that is generated! Additionally, these larger-sized motors run cooler and more efficiently than their 540 counterparts. These high-powered machines are the motors of choice at small, indoor race tracks and easily install into OFNA’s® Hyper 10 SC Pro 4×4 Kit™, OFNA’s® Jammin’ SCRT 10 4X4 Kit™, Traxxas’® Slash 4X4 4WD Short Course Trucks™ and many other 1/10-scale short course trucks.

In addition to its already impressive features, including low-speed driveability and no cogging, the Ballistic 550s have also been fitted with rugged 5mm output shafts for maximum resilience and race life. Additionally, the motors are sensor-based for a smooth and controlled power delivery.

Novak’s new Kinetic Racing Brushless ESC made a bold statement at the Cactus Classic on March 19-21, 2010. Jeremy Felles spearheaded the impressive Kinetic-powered finishes by earning the top qualifying honors in 2WD Stock (13.5) Buggy and 2WD Stock (13.5) Truck. He also received the overall win in both classes.

In the 2WD Truck Division, three other drivers powered their Kinetic’s to top finishes. Danny Stojackovic finished fourth overall and fifth overall in the 2WD Buggy Division. Kevin Smit finished sixth in 2WD Truck. Team Novak Driver Bill Koch, who used a Ballistic 17.5T Brushless Motor in the 13.5T Division, finished a remarkable seventh overall. Furthermore, Koch placed fifth overall in the 10.5T Division with a Ballistic 13.5T.

Thanks to all of the drivers who supported Novak, and congrats to the Cactus winners!
