JConcepts drivers, Jason Ruona, Paul Wynn and JR Mitch perform pre-worlds testing at Coral Springs and Tampa, FL with a prototype version of the new JConcepts Inverse 1/8th scale buggy wheel. This new wheel which is unique in construction is 2-piece with the conventional design being “inversed”. This allows for a very smooth interior design which resists dirt and debris build-up during hard racing conditions while also providing stability. Additionally, the interior remains in focus as it can be adjusted to change the amount of natural flexibility of the wheel. The outside of the wheel is ribbed and braced for support while being protected and capped by a dish which gives the racer the option of color or dish swaps with ease. Look for more details as they emerge on the new Inverse wheel during the 2010 IFMAR World Championships.
Just received the sample from Yeah Racing and start building it. The kit looks great with nice finishing and every parts fit perfectly. Here are some pictures of the final products and they will be available in next week!!!

Tamiya will announce their new TRF417 electric touring car at next month’s Plamodel hobby show in Japan. The successor to the double World Champion 416, the new car is more about fine tuning a winning package than huge changes. With the use of LiPo and brushless motors now used exclusively, the changes include a new super rigid motor mount with an updated motor position. Other changes include a new internal ratio, new chassis layout, battery mounting, an updated ball diff design and updated steering system. Expect to get the official word from Tamiya in and around the middle of October.
