Ryan Maifield Chooses Reedy Engines, Then Wins!
Reedy is proud to announce that Team Associated Factory Driver Ryan Maifield has signed to race Reedy’s all-new .21 Competition nitro engine for the remainder of the 2008 season and beyond. Input from a driver of Ryan’s caliber is instrumental in the development of an engine suitable for World Class competition.
In Ryan’s first race with his new powerplant, the 2008 Summer Nitrofest at The Farm 2, he qualified on pole position and nearly led wire-to-wire to win in convincing fashion. Because The Farm 2 is the host of the 2008 IFMAR World Championships later this year, Maifield becomes an early favorite for the coveted title.
New Reedy Battery Accessories
Lower resistance means more power and longer runtimes. Reedy’s new easy-to-install high-performance gold connectors provide a low-resistance connection in a compact package. Because they are available in two sizes, most applications are served.
Larger 4mm connectors are perfect for sub-C and LiPo battery connections while 3.5mm connectors are suited for brushless motor connections and 1:18 scale battery connections. In all cases, replacing high-resistance connectors with Reedy gold connectors improves all aspects of a vehicle’s performance.
Single cell heat shrink is the best way to maintain the integrity of your matched sub-C cells. Protect your investment by using Reedy’s single cell shrink wrap – test label data remains intact and short circuits are prevented.
Legend: 2M, 2F = qty 2 male connectors, qty 2 female connectors.
