This is a great motor for the price. I purchased one for newly rebuilt Tamiya Lunchbox and threw one of these in and on the first run it made such a big difference in acceleration over the original silver can. Unfortunately after the first run, it must have been so torquey it actually bent the and broke the gearbox wheelie springs (Lunchbox and Midnight Pumpkin owners know what I'm on about). I had to modify the gearbox with a third CVA shock and now it does wheelies up to and sometimes over 2m. Although it only revs to 16k (this is not slow with a 10T pinion), it is overall a very punchy motor with good midrange performance and gives good run times for a crazy price - making your rc motor much more fun to drive.
That said, you have to spend much more for better performance.
