These are very nice shafts for the price. It won't take much angle before binding though, so I wouldn't recommend it if you plan on setting your TT01 up for CS drifting. I get steering chatter when I get close to 40 degrees of steering angle, so I have to reduce my end steering end points with my transmitter.
Pro tip for the pins falling out problem: first, super glue the hex screw in place. Second, get some heat shrink tubing that'll fit over the joint with the pin. heat up the shrink tube, and voila--you just created a CV boot that keeps the pin place.

Necessary to use any of the 3Racing differentials, or to be paired with just the diff outdrives if you like the stock Tamiya one. I matched this to the ball diff front and rear for my friend's car, and he says it's the best drivetrain upgrade to improving driveability and smoothness for both drifting and gripping. They are much smoother than the stock dogbones, and will handle the power of a brushless motor with ease...I have yet to hear anything but praise for the new setup.
This one little modification is such an upgrade for the TT-01 that it is as if the car has taken on a completely different personality. My car originally was a nasty hideously noisy car but the moment that I added these to all four corners the thing started to sound like an expertly tuned belt drive car. The units last forever. One thing I would warn about which is not the fault of the product so much as the sheer fault of physics. The pins that hold the units together are held in place by small allen screws. They sometimes back themselves out and if you are not careful you may find one disintegrate on you. What I would do is file a small notch (less than 1/2 of 1 mm deep) into the pin so that the allen screw has something to hold on to and also use thread lock (very small amount) on the a..
I have a car set-up for drifting - and one of the best hopups that you can get for drifting is the 3Racing solid rear axle. However, YOU HAVE TO HAVE THESE Swing Shafts if you are running 3Racing (#TT01-25/LB) Alum. Solid Axle (LB) For TT-01 - the normal dogbones will not fit!
I have been very impressed with the quality of these - they are clearly well made and a good price. These swing (or sometimes called universal) drive shafts have a nice finish to them and are very durable.
They also improve the whole drivetrain efficiency of you TT01 due to their design. They give you a much smoother ride and will give you better efficiency overall.
These are highly recommended for ALL TT01 owners - I'm really happy with them!
Excellent hop up if you are looking to improve your RC! The shaft provides more direct power to the wheels, and you won't have to worry about dropping dogbones. It's provides a nice feel when powering through a drift.
If you plan to buy this you'll also need the 3 racing universal outer diff. It will not fit without it as the shafts are longer than the standard dogbone. Also, this swing shaft is required should you want to upgrade to the 3 racing aluminum hub carriers (both front and rear).
