The all new Sakura D3 CS Drift is 3Racing’s answer to the hotly contested Drift Class. It is the first few with full front motor RC drift chassis and is expected to be the cheapest of the bunch.
Featuring a true Front Motor and Triple Belt drive train, the true front motor design brings it closer to the weight distribution of real life drift cars, allowing a prolonged high speed drift action. Combining ideas and feedbacks from seasoned Drift racers, the 3 Racing Drift Car was designed from the ground up instead of rebadging an existing chassis and selling it as a new product.

Weight Distribution: True Front Motor design – using a triple belt drive system this allows the motor to be positioned in front of the front differential and in the centerline of the chassis giving it the forward weight bias needed in contemporary high powered RC drift cars. The belt drive system gives it the advantages of smooth and stable power delivery when compared to shaft drive cars which tends to be affected by motor torque action under acceleration.
Steering: The front arms of the Sakura D3 has been completely redesigned and is unlike anything else currently available. The steering lock angle will be by far the largest available allowing for maximum counter steer actions and higher corner entry speeds. The caster angle on the C Hubs will feature a massive 10 degrees adding more aggressive steering on high speed entries and more closely resembling real life FR drift cars
Drivetrain: Utilizing a belt drive system, overdriving the front or rear wheels can easily be done by changing the size of the belt pulleys , the 3 Racing Drift Car will come standard with a front wheel drive ratio of 38/13 (2.92) and overdrived rear wheel drive ratio of 30/22 (1.36). The triple belt system allows for flexibility of the positioning of the spur gear shaft allowing it to accommodate a wide variety of spur gear sizes up to a 64P 118T when used with a 40T pinion gears. Front and rear solid axles will come standard for the easiest of drift action control with the option of ball and one way differentials available as optional parts.
Suspension: Suspension components have been completely redesigned to accommodate the largest chamber angle possible with the front and rear both allowing up to 10 degrees chamber whenever you need more side grip and also ensuring those large offset blind wheels stay within the side panels.
Oil Filled Coil Spring Shocks: Lengthen 54mm coiled spring oil filled shocks with threaded shock bodies allows a more progressive chassis roll action and easy tuning
Wide Angle Driveshafts: The universal driveshafts of the Sakura D3 has been given a redesign to minimize chattering vibrations of the front inside wheel when using a front solid axleand steering is near maximum lock, which is crucial to maintain the front inside wheel will stay on the ground and provide a more consistent drift action.
Molded Rear Diffuser: For an added touch of realism, a molded composite rear diffuser comes standard to give the Sakura D3 the extra attention to detail
80T 48P Spur: A 80 tooth 48 pitch spur gear will come standard with the Sakura D3 kit
-3 Degrees Rear Toe-In: Rear toe-in is adjustable via the change of suspension mounts, the Sakura D3 kit will come standard with -3 degrees rear toe-in mount
Composite Molded Chassis: The Sakura D3 will be outfitted with a FRP upper chassis and a molded composite main chassis featuring a motor cooling air inlet and designed with the rigidity to ensure efficient side to side weight transfer to easily initiate high speed drifting.

Three hop up parts and u're all set. 1)Aluminum One Way Tube For Sakura D3 #SAK-D324/PK. 2)Ultra Wide Angle Universal Driveshafts for Sakura D3 #SAK-D331. 3)Aluminum Steering System For Sakura D3 #SAK-D310/PK. If u're on a budget, just get the front one way. If not, buy those three that i mention above. I also bought the Solid Axle For Sakura D3 #SAK-D120/PK and for this solid axle, u need to buy Solid Axle Outer Joint For 3racing Sakura Zero #SAK-09. I didnt buy it when i order my car kit because i just didn't know that. **Now I mention this info in this review to save others time n hassle.** So, will have to get that outer joint when ordering more stuffs.
I also bought the Drift Belt Tension Post For Sakura D3 #SAK-D323/PK. The plastic one that came w/ the kit works fine. I bought it because i thought it was a center belt tensioner.
I also bought the Belt Tension Post For Sakura Zero, XI Sport, Ultimate #SAK-58/PK because I dont know which one would work w/ the center belt better. Well, the Drift Belt Tension Post For Sakura D3 #SAK-D323/PK is an aluminum replacement part. That means u have a plastic one in ur kit. The Belt Tension Post For Sakura Zero, XI Sport, Ultimate #SAK-58/PK isn't a replacement part. This is the one u should buy to adjust ur center belt's tension for D3. It sits perfectly on top of the upper plate. My center belt has perfect tension right out of the box, so i dont really need to use any tensioner yet. But, i did installed it just to see how it would look and function on the car. I might need it in the future though.
***U also need to buy a 48P 18T pinion gear.***

I have 12 cars including, a DIB , TT01, MST FS 01D, TA05 VDF and a Kasemoto gravity ( Junk). As well as 2 sakura d3 cs! These chassis "ARE THE BEST BANG FOR BUCK YOU CAN GET" !!!!!!!
With hop ups like steering hubs, arms , knuckles and wide angle cvd's 55°steering angle is easily achieved. And with the addition of a rear spool and front one way this chassis will out perform all of my $1000 chassis' !

These chassis look great but are complete and utter garbage that you will have to buy genuine hop ups to get to perform like a stock plastic kit.
If you follow the instructions carefully and assemble the shocks and steering arms to exact lengths this car is tuned straight out of the box
A super drift chassis, at a super price! RCmart just can't be beat. On to the car; I've had mine now for almost 6 months, and it has rapidly transformed from a stock chassis into an almost fully hopped up beast. A word of warning though; this car does require a few upgrades to really help it along. I would suggest new D3 owners definitely need the Front One Way, the Ultra Wide Angle CVD's, and a good sensored motor/ESC combo. I have found around 10.5t to be the real sweet spot. Countersteer is not an easy method to learn, it literally means steering in a direction opposite to the way you want to turn. This means throttle is used to control the angle of the turn, and induce switchbacks. Smooth throttle control is a MUST! New drivers, just keep going, persevere! You will get it eventually and you will be so happy you kept at it when it was tough and you felt all you did was spin out. It looks just like a real drift car when it all comes together. Dooooiiittt!
This chassis is just amazing . It is very easy to assebly it as the manual is with nicely detailed images. The quailty of the part's that it includes is very good and keeps running even in the worst conditions ! Once it's build it's very easy to drift and control . You won't find a better drift chassis for this money . Very rigid and lightweight !
This is a great first time drifter roller for the price of it. I went with a TT01 as my first RTR but within a month ended up spending at least 150$ to upgrade it. For the cost, this will easily last you and out perform the TT01 of the starting line. Belt driven and some upgrade parts to be found.

Definitely the best bang for your buck drifter on the market right now. I suggest also adding a custom tensioner for the middle belt though because that is the car's weak point, it's middle belt sags like a gangster sags his pants.
