3RACING now introduces a new product Disconnector System for AXLAL AX10 (#AX10-29). Our system is easy to install and setting. It is a three-function controller that provides 4WD, front 2WD with locked rear axle and front 2WD with unlocked rear axle. It provides the best performance for any rock climbing competition and you can challenge every variety of landform with our disconnector system..
Basic requirement and installation
Basically, you need to prepare a three channel radio and servo (We recommend the Futaba or Hitec). Our system is including a transmission shaft, graphite servo plate and disconnector unit. First, connect the disconnector unit to original bulkhead or 3RACING aluminum center bulkhead (#AX10-09/GR). Second, use the three channel radio to test the disconnector between the servo arm and linkage can work smoothly or not. Repeat switch the three channel that to make sure the connector plug is well connected before start climbing.
Four wheel drive setting:
When the front and rear axle are fully opened, 4WD power for both wheels can get the maximun amount of traction.
Front 2WD with locked rear axle:
It is the most common and the best performance for our disconnector system. Locking the rear axle and steer the front wheels to full locked to allow the crawler to pivot. It can achieve a perfect rotation direction. Disconnector system is your best weapon on climbing competition.
Front 2WD with unlock rear axle:
Unlock the rear axle and full power will centralize on the front wheel. It is suitable for your crawler is attempt a steep climb. It allows that front tyre fully wrap on the rock to complete a difficult slope.
